Day 2:
Today was day 2 of the magic quill challenge and the clue was revealed at 10am, London time.
Once you find the answer to the question/clue, you must put the answer at the end of a hyper-link provided on the Pottermore home page. The time window of which you have to do this is restricted to how many spaces are remaining for that given day. Today, the window of opportunity last about an hour and 20 minutes.

Multiply this answer by 42″.
The chapter was chapter 14 and multiplied by 42, this gives the answer of 588.
